British & USA passport holders do not require a visa to travel to the UAE. However, Indian citizens require a visa. Further information can be found at www.dubaivisa.net. If you require any assistance with visas, please contact our events management team and they will be happy to assist.

Transfers

The Ritz-Carlton in Abu Dhabi is located 1 hour away from Dubai International Airport (DXB) and just 20 minutes from Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH).

Please provide your flight information to [email protected], and our Events Management team will arrange a transfer for you from your airport to the hotel. Transfers to and from both airports will be arranged for arrivals on the 17th (all day) and 18th April (morning), and returns on the 21st April (all day) to both airports.

There will also be one coach pick-up from Dubai City – Zabeel Park Gate No.1 (just before Sheikh Zayed Road) on 17th April and one coach drop-off on 21st April (time to be confirmed). Please let us know if interested by emailing us on [email protected].

Travel

There are a number of flights per day from London Heathrow to Dubai International Airport (DXB) and to Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH).

We would recommend flying with Emirates, British Airways, Etihad or Virgin.

Accomodation

The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal is a luxury beach resort and is minutes away from the city centre. Located across from the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, the hotel offers breath-taking views of the ocean.

Weather & Dress in Abu Dhabi

The best time to visit Abu Dhabi is from November to April. During the month of April, temperatures can reach around 25-30​​°C, with 13 hours of sunshine and a sea temperature of 24°C.

Loose lightweight clothing is ideal, however wearing short, revealing or tight clothing is considered disrespectful in the UAE. Tight or revealing tops and short skirts/dresses are not advised.  It is best to cover your shoulders and wear skirts/pants/trousers when in public areas.
